    first woman-Eve

Ishshah, the first of womankind, was not born of woman, but was born of man and created by God in God's own image. Adam came first and animals came before Eve. Adam could not find a suitable helpmate. God created another person that mankind might be complete. God placed Eve in front of Adam. Adam declared, "This is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman (Ishshah) because she was taken out of man (ish). Ishshah lived with her intimate partner in a beautiful garden thought to be located in the area of Babylon (no evidence to prove.) At that time the animals talked, and the serpent was more subtle than the others. The idea that he was the devil came from the Apostle John in Revelation. The serpent led Eve to disobey God. She doubted God's sovereignty, wanted to be like God, looked, touched and partook of the forbidden. Her innocence was gone, she was naked, and she hid from God. God brought her into the open and punished her for her disobedience. To the woman God said, "I will greatly multiply your pain in childbearing, yet your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you." Ishshah became Eve, mother of all living. Every Person who has ever lived has a connection to Eve. She was subordinate to Adam. That condition lasted until the second Adam, Jesus Christ, came to reconcile the world to Himself. When God expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, contrary to the wisdom of the serpent, they became mortal beings. Although they lived approximately 800 years after the fall, they did die.
